Installation, 2019Brief: A digital, community altar.
Concept: This interactive altar was made in collaboration with Lizzy Chiappini. We asked participants to write a note to a loved one, a power they wanted to communicate with or an intention they wanted to set, then place the written note into the box. Once the note was placed in the box a visualization would play on the monitor to represent the message being communicated. Our intention was to create an opportunity were religious, spiritual, and/or agnostic folks could feel affirmed in their belief practices in a shared space.
